Airlite Plastics designed and commercialized the B-Line, a rectangular handled container and lid product line. The package’s tamper-evident design with IML graphics attracted Otis Spunkmeyer, a leading producer of fundraising cookie dough. The result has been eye-catching packaging for the cookie dough and a reusable container and lid for the consumer at home.
Airlite Plastics is well known for its collaboration with customers to develop a custom solution for their packaging needs. We also develop stock packaging solutions that provide all customers with the opportunity to upgrade to “performance packaging”. Following our very successful Q-Line, pictured above, we have recently introduced three new lines of IML stock products in round and square with regular or tamper deterring lids
The leading marketer of prepared barbeque meat products, Hormel Foods’s Lloyd’s Barbeque Company wanted to update their packaging to improve graphics and add to consumer convenience. Airlite Plastics presented designs with eye-catching IML labels, a handle design to help customers remove from microwave and an environmentally friendly container and lid that allowed for the elimination of nearly a thousand tons of secondary paperboard packaging. Quite a feat and the consumers love it, resulting in an increase in sales as well.
GFA Brands, the owner of Smart Balance, contacted Airlite Plastics when it wanted to enhance its brand, upgrade its packaging to IML (in-mold labeled), and improve shelf efficiency. Airlite Plastics designed the J1851 (a 15/16 oz. retail package) as well as a full line of other sizes. Space-saving packaging with exquisite graphics resulted in a successful relaunch of the brand.
